In June 2025, Risen is sending a team to Zimbabwe with one of our ministry partners, RiverCross Global. The team will be building relationships with RiverCross, putting on a training summit for local ministry leaders, and connecting with children in our freedom club. Team participants will put their gifts and skills to work in administration, relationship building, prayer, and logistics during the four-day training summit. Our teaching team will provide theological training for local pastors. The team will also participate in a community day, getting to know the children in our freedom club by playing games and getting to see them face to face for the first time.

Upon return, our team will serve as ambassadors to our church, raising awareness about the needs around the world and fostering communities that will give, partner and go with RiverCross in the future.
